AML Shipping Sdn Bhd is a Malaysia company incorporated in 2016, a subsidiary of the public listed Harbour-Link Group Berhad, HLG. AML’s core business is to provide liner container transport, shipping agency and logistic services in West Malaysia, Singapore, East Malaysia and Brunei ports through its complete agency network.

AML operates as an independent brand with its principal office located in Port Klang. AML group business is lead by an independent management team who has years of experience in the shipping industry. To gain benefit from the economy of scale, improve greater assets utilisation and marketing emphasis, AML has pooled and shared vessels operated by HLG in its domestic container trade.

AML’s maiden voyage to East Malaysia was launched on 2nd March 2016, with customers’ continuous support, additional liner services were introduced subsequently. At present, we offer seven (7) calls per week ex Port Klang to all the East Malaysia and Brunei (EMB) ports.

AML as a Malaysia domestic carrier accepts carrier’s owned container (COC) from its local shippers. It also accepts shipper’s owned container (SOC) from main line operators (MLO) thereby providing the connectivity and market accessibility to EMB ports. These MLOs vessels only call at the transhipment hubs in Singapore and Peninsular Malaysia main port, hence they leverage on our feeder service and complete agency network to relay cargoes to and from Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei ports.
